TRACKER's Very High Frequency (VHF) stolen vehicle recovery systems work like an electronic homing device. A covert transmitter is hidden discretely in one of several dozen places around your vehicle. There is no visible aerial or other identifying feature so the thief can't see it and won't know it's there. Unlike our competitors we have our own, purpose-built, radio network dedicated to getting your vehicle back -fast!

Unlike GPS or GSM only based systems, VHF can still recover your vehicle even if it is in an underground car park, a shipping container or transported in a covered trailer. As soon as the active unit is within range of a TRACKER equipped Police Vehicle it will be identified through a unique code known only to TRACKER and the Police.

What makes TRACKER unique is that all 52 Police Forces across the UK and every Police intercept vehicle, motorbike and helicopter is equipped with TRACKER detection equipment, so any of these vehicles can see where your stolen vehicle is anywhere in the UK, and intercept within minutes. No other tracking unit features this unique advantage.  

TRACKER LOCATE has all the functionality of TRACKER Monitor with the added benefit of Global Positioning System (GPS) and GSM Location for faster vehicle retrieval.

The benefit of this tri-technology allows:

• GPS & GSM positioning information to locate the vehicle on computer based maps

• Information on the vehicle’s location and direction to be relayed to appropriate police force

• Should the vehicle at anytime lose the GPS/GSM positioning, then TRACKER’S proven very high frequency technology will be used by the police to track the stolen vehicle to its exact location, even if it’s hidden in a container or underground car park.

• Once the vehicle is located, TRACKER will arrange for a uniformed guard to stay with the vehicle until the recovery company arrive to pick it up and return it to you.

New TRACKER Locate customers can now view their vehicle online in real time from anywhere in the world using our new My TRACKER website. Existing customers will require a simple, free upgrade to get access to My TRACKER and we will be contacting all existing TRACKER Locate customers over the next few months to let them know when their upgrade will be available.

Plan routes with live traffic information and compare journeys to Google Maps, view detailed driving reports, set up security alerts and reminders and lots more. Maps

Users can display information about a location and get directions using Google maps within My TRACKER. Traffic information, congestion zones, roadworks and speed cameras can also be viewed from the Map tab.

Reports

My TRACKER offers two report options: journey reports and event reports.

See the start and stop location, date and time, average speed and distance travelled, fuel used and CO2 emissions for each journey in an easy to view, downloadable format.

Dashboard

The dashboard offers a helpful summary of the distance travelled, roads used and over speeds. Total CO2 emissions and fuel costs for the last month can also be seen at a glance.

Alerts

Set reminders for MOT due dates, car servicing appointments, insurance renewals and other important dates of your choice. Then get them pinged to you by text, email or both!

You can set up a security breach alert to notify you if your vehicle is moved between certain dates. For example, if the engine is started in the airport carpark when you are on holiday, you’ll get an alert.

You can even set up a Geofence area on the map which will notify you if your vehicle enters or leaves a defined area.

Journeys

The journey playback feature gives you a historic view of the route taken by your vehicle. You can compare past journeys to Google and view in Google Street View too.

Subscription & Installation process

Subscription Charge £174 per year or £399 for three years.

For your information all subscriptions, whether annual or ‘duration of ownership’ will be payable direct to Tracker.

An installation request for your Tracker will be passed to our booking team, in which one our agents will contact you to arrange an appointment.

The Chameleon Group aim to have an engineer attending site within 5 working days (mainland UK only), we will dispatch the Tracker direct to the you via courier, after installation you will be required to complete and post the accompanying paperwork to Tracker as soon as possible. The information you supply to Tracker will include details of the vehicle, contact numbers and bank /card details to cover subscription costs
